Writing into English because I want to be sure to be understood correctly.
Really that happened? I didn’t see my name mentioned anywhere or I haven’t been tagged. So just wondering where you drew this information from (sincere demand).
As you correctly said, I never asked to vote for me. I informed the board and told “ vote for whoever you want, but vote”. I said this twice on two separate posts.
Of course I said I needed support, but I also said that winning that competition ahead of Greg Maxwell would have embarrassed me. So I thought, and I think It was more than a joke than an actual support-begging. Now how see how that could have been misinterpreted, but this wasn’t my intention for sure, otherwise I would have abstained from that joke (“beniamino nazionale” is a loose translation of the “Italian stallion” nickname I have on the WO thread).
I think it is offensive to make you notice I never merited anyone in exchange for a vote.
And I agree this is embarrassing. The competition was ruined by some weird behaviour, and I am sad I was drawn into this. I had fun writing my interview, fun reading many of other’s interview, and fun on this competition. Apparently it was too good to be true.
