You can work it out for yourself even if no cause of death is attributed... just look at the figures for
excess mortality. 2020 has seen far far more deaths than usual. Something new is killing people. You can see from the chart below that the trend coincides with the Covid-19 pandemic. And if you go to the link, you can select other countries too, and see the same pattern repeated around the world.
