I still believe Real Madrid has a chance at the title though, it may seem to have been jealously guided by Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid remains a true rivalry to Atletico Madrid haven't taken 2 UCL from them, Laliga trophy won't be such a big deal though, the stakes are much higher now with Luiz Suarez and Diego Costa handling the forward. The game remains open though.
The championship is won by a more stable team. Even if Atletico loses both games to Real Madrid, but wins all the rest, then Atletico will become the champion. In the Champions League, you need to play 8 games strongly. And in the championship you need to play 38. And a more stable team will become a champion. At the moment Atletico Madrid is in better condition than Real or Barcelona.
People seem to forget that Atletico is 6 points at the top of la liga with 2 unplayed games; which definitely means that Simeone and his team can go 12 points clear at the top. The odds are all on Atletico to keep up their good performances; and play for a draw anytime they are playing Madrid and Barcelona (Their biggest rival).
