Yes, as you analyze Bitcoin is absolutely better and less risky than YFI.
As far as I know, YFI was one of the first Defi tokens in the Crypto market but it only hype in a short period of time and now its price has dropped quite sharply compared to ATH. And I can be sure that YFI will never be able to compete with Bitcoin because it has the team to manage the token. Therefore, it is not considered a special asset class like Bitcoin and its prestige will certainly not be compared to Bitcoin.
