I got an ASIC miner in the mail today.  I am having trouble getting it to do anything. 

When I first put it in, it tried to install a driver, but then said it didn't exist.  I was directed to a website where I installed something called CP210x_VCP_Windows.  I installed the x64 to my Windows Vista, but now when I plug the USB in, nothing happens.  I don't see it anywhere on the system.  I obviously missed something at some point.

This ASIC miner didn't come with an instruction disc or booklet or anything.  It is right now a hot, useless bit of hardware.  Can anybody help me to get this piece working?
