Never compare bitcoin and gold because they are not the same. You can see gold, touch and feel it but bitcoin is all about currency that interconnects people around world by network.
What do you want people to use to compare bitcoin? Gold is known to have value and an asset while bitcoin also having value and also an asset but digitally. I do not see what is wrong about comparing bitcoin and gold, they are both an asset and having values. Gold has been the talk since 1800s while bitcoin is also becoming the talk like gold in 2000s. Comparing them is not bad because bitcoin has been the talk-in-world like gold.
