Overall this year isn't alt season. Though defi project was doing great at the beginning. But finally bitcoin showed the strongest move in this year. And altcoins also got a slight good move. Compare to btc this is nothing good. Maybe next year would be the perfect alt season.
Altcoins this year were surprised by the movement of bitcoin that was out of the ordinary so they could not prepare properly, but altcoins are now able to follow the rhythm of bitcoin again, even though it's a bit late. I may agree that maybe next year is all tokens will get the best portion, we are waiting for that to happen as predicted.
but not for emerging altcoins it doesn't seem like they can keep up with the beat and most new altcoins are scams.
