In general, I stopped trusting ICO projects back in 2018, and if I were you, in December, it would be better to buy just altcoins, which have great prospects. If you want to invest in ICO, then choose them very carefully.
There's no wrong investing in ICOs as long as you know exactly that you will not end up investing in scam projects. ICOs nowadays are no longer trusted by this crypto community as most of them only fall into scams. You're right, better invest into altcoins that are listed on top ten or much better choose bitcoin for investment so you can make sure profits in the coming days.
