There is already a community awards thread being voted on which has gained quite the engagement over the weeks it has been open. Imo, another annual poll would be a bit superfluous

As was suggested in the other thread, if we are to have a community vote it's probably better not to create a category for trolls. They do what they do to get attention whether or not it makes them infamous, and an award would give them just the attention the desire.
Ignore the trolls.
