You gotta me kidding me!

I still wonder if it was a miscommunication.  When she said Bitcoin he misheard her and thought she named a project he had worked on with the government.   In the AP interview he sometimes referred to Bitcoin as "BitCom".

He is under a huge amount of pressure now, but when Leah was first there it wasn't so intense. Perhaps he thought that if he told her that he had nothing to do with it anymore she would leave him alone and interview someone else. She had probably tried to charm him with her smile and by being friendly. Remember that she started her communications by tricking him saying that she enjoying the shared interest of model trains!  Angry Perhaps he didn't yet realise how serious it was and he preferred not to lie outright to her?  Angry

Maybe with his statements now he is just trying throw out misdirection by referring to Bitcoin as "Bitcom" and saying silly things like: "I never communicated with Bitcoin" to throw people off as much as possible. It's pretty smart actually since it seems to be working for a lot of people. Smiley

now this funny man will be stalked by the cia and fbi, how sad

Yes. He knows that with all the controversy surrounding Bitcoin he will be subpoenaed by all sorts of government agencies that he really doesn't want to have any contact with at all!

It's really sad to see this great man who wants nothing but to live a private life being harassed in this way.

Shame on the sleazy Leah McGrath Goodman, she is the worst scum of a reporter!  Angry
