I also recently invested more than I could afford to lose (going from 95% in to 98.5% when price was around $10-11K). Best decision I ever made! This was also on the basis of selling the 3.5% when price broke $18K, as it's actually money I need 
Congrats btw! What you did is not so acceptable by many investors. The time proved you right and you get profit from the investment, but if you thought about the risks you deal with, it is so scary (you must be the most risk-seeking person around). This behavior should not be an example for others or they will blame you if they lose money with your tactic
