We have always observed that if bitcoin rises in value, most altcoins follow as well. Even now that bitcoin has reached another ATH, altcoins are also increasing and now, market is in green celebrating the bitcoins new record.
ETH will be delayed for a few weeks and it will break the ATH of 2018. The upside momentum isn't strong, it's not enough ETH can do that this year. We'll see altcoins in general and ETH in particular, make a lot of breakthroughs in the coming year.
