Not everyone think as you though, I don't see bitcoin collapsing anytime soon or even in the future, rather I see it breaking more highs as time goes on, also about the utility part I know bitcoin is not the fastest in terms of transactions, but I think the usage of bitcoin depends on the user, recently bitcoin is been used as a store of value,that's why you see  alot of companies buying huge amount of it , as it is referred to as the digital gold,some people use as an investment tool also, so the utility has gone beyond just transferring money from one place to another.
