If network congestion is your only argument then you have to know that ethereum network congestion is 10 times worse than bitcoin's not to mention that ETH 2.0 has never even addressed these issues despite what ETH pumpers want you to believe, it was mainly a hype mainly to pump it up.
the fact is that ethereum is too flawed to even be considered for anything serious.
Honestly, the ETH 2.0 is a flop the way it is at present. All the expectations of it correcting the abnormalities in the ETH chain and transaction fees now look like a mirage. I have consistently maintained that the greatest strength of ETH is the smart contract, with other projects being able to build on its chain. Otherwise, ETH would've collapsed a long time ago.
Another point OP should understand is that Bitcoin has come to stay. It's the bedrock of the crypto industry. The day Bitcoin becomes worthless is the day the whole crypto industry goes down the drains.
I can't assuredly say that for ETH.
