Eth 2.0 launched and operating??
But why didn't Gas fees are lowered by now??
Cant find any information about it can anyone share some.
In Phase 0, the beacon chain was activated and PoS was implemented, but Ethereum PoW will still work. The beacon chain is just the beginning of Ethereum 2.0 and will not handle transactions, execute smart contracts or host dapps. Ethereum's congestion problems will be addressed from Phase 1, where shard chains, which are the scalability solution for the network, will be implemented.
That needs a process to migrate ethereum 1.0 to the 2.0
as far as i know if POW will always work. I heard that about the possibility for ethereum 2.0 to be a hybrid consensus which mean POW will still work while it will be running with the POS consensus at the same time but this is not yet confirmed by the ethereum core developers.
I see that CMC has been writing total supply of ether and idk whether that's true or not.
