For all altcoins that have Ath set in 2017, it is still far from its high. And I do not have such confidence that in the near future such altcoins will be able to install new ATH. The example of Ethereum shows that it should grow by another 130% before the new ATH.
New coins haven't experienced a big dump yet, so it's easier for them to reach their record price values.
It is possible and they can set up their new all time highs if price rallies double from temporary price in BTC pairs and BTC sets its new all time high. It is possible but if consider carefully about it, their values in BTC will not climb to their past all time high. If people invest in those coins in BTC pairs, they will still get loss, serious loss.
New altcoins as
YFI has its hype this year. This token sets its all time high at $43966 and I don't believe it can break that price cap. If it can, congratulate to people invest in YFI in YFI/ USDT pair but the price of that token in YFI/BTC pair is very crazy. That pair all time high is 4.2 BTC for one YFI. I believe the token will never set a new all time high above 4.2 BTC 'for one YFI.
