what I can see on bitdice previous ann thread the reason behind locked the previous thread and creating a new one is they are launching new version 5.0

And I can see the old thread is still in this gambling section. That means more than one ann thread for one project is against the rule according to this

Btw anybody can create a self-moderated topic and it will remain good until they don start something shady by deleting posts only against them.
