Are you absolutely sure you sent bitcoin to an address in that wallet then? If someone were to steal your bitcoins, there would be at least two transactions: the thief's, and yours depositing inside the wallet.

Did you ever change the derivation path of the seed? If you restore using the wrong derivation path then it won't find your addresses with bitcoins in them.

Most importantly do you have access to the 2017 wallet file? Did you encrypt it with a password and forgot what it was, or are you able to copy the wallet file to your other computer and open it in Electrum?

If you remember any of your addresses, you can look them up on a block explorer and trace the address they're located in and hen can figure out if the destination address belongs to you.
