Khawaja,Hales & Ferguson makes a good start for Sydney Thunder and put 219 in first innings.
Melbourne now need 220 runs to chase. They need a solid start in order to win this match.
The first match was also quite exciting. Melbourne Renegades made 168/6 (thanks to Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch) and Sydney Sixers need another 26 runs in 15 balls for a win. Sixers started well with Josh Philippe and Jack Edwards putting up a 50 plus opening stand, but then they lost quick wickets. Jordan Silk is still out there with unbeaten 31, along with Jason Holder.
@vishnu.Reang in the end Sydney Thunder comfortably won the match, and I felt that Melbourne Stars crumbled under the pressure while chasing such a huge total posted by Sydney Thunder. Also it’s pertinent to note that lots of credit goes to Chris Green for picking 4 wickets, and that increased the pressure on Melbourne Stars, which resulted in their defeat.
