The decision to add xrp was made before all these stuff happens and it was a popular altcoin so it will be a good addition to let users gamble with it. If you hold alot of xrp then look at the bright side, the price was down close to 50% in 7 days so this will be an opportunity for all those xrp holders to gamble their xrp stash hoping to get something back from it.
