A day has passed, are they still reviewing it? They haven't given a timeframe for how long the review shall take. Just like your suspicion, they could probably be preparing for the holiday and there's only a few staff that are on duty.
Better consider the alternatives given above, because I have been waiting for more than a year to get my verification done and access the funds left in my vault.
