Even prior to the SEC lawsuit against XRP, altcoins have been enjoying a sort of mini bull run, specially with the whole Defi that burst out of the scene and took off. The problem with alts though is that still prone to pump and dump scheme so majority of them are still lagging behind. There was even months when they are bleeding while Bitcoin continues to grow.

If there will be alt season, Ethereum will be the one to lead them, although it has seen prices never been touch since 2018, it needs to go and hit and set a new all time high first before other alts follow.
