I think the discussion of hyperbitcoinization is a real thing to talk about.
Seems kind of arbitrary, doesn't it? That's only a $600 billion market cap. Gold is currently around $10 trillion. M3 for the US dollar is at almost $19 trillion.
When BTC actually starts approaching the size of gold's market, that's where things get interesting. Too big to ignore at that point. Right now it's still a relative drop in the bucket, something that can be hand waved away.
