Its free to try and if you like it, you can send a donation and use it anytime as many mining rigs as you want.
But you are absolutely right, I prefer to pay for a oneshot version, than to have software that cuts you off to do its devfee and you disrupt your mining software
So the proposed version is a version that automatically cuts off after a while
