Many. Most recent was AAVE, I bought when it was still ETHlend.
You will also lose some buying cheap coins but you will NEVER even get x20 on ETH not even x3. And even if x3 in that time many many other coins will be x10 and more.
But its riskier compared to ETH. I mean altcoin is only good for short term investments ,once you earn enough you should leave it or else you will lose your profit for trusting too much in a project. even ETH decrease its value more than 90% so what else from other altcoins? This is only good if you bought it cheaper but if not always take profit and do not fall in love with a coins hoping to become the same as other altcoins .
