There are too few data points to make the conclusion that just because it is January the price of bitcoin will go down, I know that is what happened during the last bull run but history never repeats itself perfectly, most people remember the end of 2017 but the bull run actually began at the end of 2016 if we are going to use your argument about history then there could still be many more months ahead of growth as this bull run did not officially started until October of 2020.

As you can see we can always draw from history something that validates our opinion about what will happen, so the best thing to do is instead to ignore it and concentrate on what we have ahead of us.
