Because they are confused and they couldn't judge it on their skills or knowledge.
They want some insight so they could know where to invest their money.
They want to understand why people are voting for those alts that they are suggesting.
But the problem is that for the most part they will not get honest answers, if they ask for which one is the best altcoin in which they can invest right now then it is obvious other people that picked a particular new altcoin over others are going to claim that their coin is the best simply because it benefits them economically to get as many people on board as possible, so asking for that kind of advice is useless and it is why we must always try to strive to improve ourselves so we can figure out the answer to that question by ourselves.
