That is exactly why nobody should invest to it, that is exactly why nobody should have invested to it ever in history. It is a company ruled coin, why would anyone trust a company? How do you know one day they won't say "we are dumping all our coins and cutting all our ties with xrp, it will be a dead project" and leave? How can you know that? Maybe they will do it? At that point each xrp will worth less than 1 cent and people will cry about it and call them scammers and there will be a lot of lawsuits and they will run to Bahamas or something with tens of billions of dollars and never have to deal with anything else.

Finally, we are talking about Ripple here and not XRP, and ripple is managed by people, and as long as a currency is not decentralized enough, I do not suggest anyone to put money into it, if you want to make money there are tons of other ones.
