Bad news: the rig stopped working! 
yesterday I tried turning it on and it was kind of ok (despite one of the 2 cards not been recognized)... but today the motherboard doesn't turn on at all
Some leds turn on and the CPU fan starts running at a "strangely" LOW speed. It feels like there is some power supply issue, like the motherboard doesn't receive enough power... It may be some really stupid thing like some power supply cable not making contact or something... maybe caused by the huge amount of dust (I made the mistake of leaving the rig rotting in open air for 3 years!)
I will investigate in the next days... I will have to dismantle the all rig hoping to solve the problem...
