They are already in trouble with COVID-19 and the economic war with the chain. I do not think it's the right time for them to take such an action. They are taking charges against various crypto projects like XRP through SEC. I think they are not very friendly with crypto right now and I do not think they want a decentralized system that gives power to people to the central authority.
