Maybe I am but I'm just taking a shot. Btc could go up or down depending on the development of the currency (as any technology I think it must evolve to survive) and I don't see any crypto being used as a collectible item  Cheesy

I can't understand why we would keep the block size limit to 1MB just to reduce the amount of spams because at the same time we would make the network less efficient for peak periods (huge trade off). Someone will have to come up with a viable solution at some point...

Spam is a lie to confuse people,
the whole point to hobbling bitcoin onchain transaction capacity is simple.
FYI: Having transaction fees was supposed to be the solution to stop spam, funny how people no longer mention that.  Wink

Limiting onchain capacity causes the transaction fees to skyrocket any time, the blocks get near being full.
This forces anyone that wants to transact to use a offchain 3rd party scam know as Lightning network.
LN hubs will all eventually be classified by the federal governments as money transmitters,
because of this Licenses from the government will be required to run an LN hub.
Guess who has those licenses as money transmitters already, Banks.
Wonder why LN was made so complex, so only banks would bother with it.
You can't make a living running an LN hub with few transactions per month,
You need millions to trillions of transactions per month to make a profit running a hub,
only extremely large LN hubs that can afford to store millions of $ worth of btc, can do that, again Banks.

Every thing else, they claim is BS.
Spam, Centralization, & poor need to run nodes,
the poor can't afford to run nodes now.

It all about the Banks, and they will throw every BS nonsense to try and confuse the issue to avoid admitting it.

That is why you are wasting your time, one of the moderators of this dev forum, took a payout from the bankers to sell out bitcoin, which is why their will be no onchain improvement in bitcoin.

Right , Judas Maxwell .
