*** Quick update - testing the same image on a (shhh) hackintosh running Mojave works fine. Nice update to the wallet interface!

ok, I tested it also on a slightly less older mac and it works there too.
So I guess I'll have to build the wallet on a very old MacOS in order to make it the most compatible,
but I will leave this be for now, I got more important stuff to handle.
I'll recommend to Mac people that they use a newer system.
