selling bitcoin at a high price in my opinion is very appropriate, but in terms of switching investment to alt, it is necessary to carefully read the market, because alt coins are very difficult to predict compared to price movements of bitcoin and the top 10 coins in the market which of course become a reference for all alt  which exists.
