To anyone reading this specially newbies better know the real site of Metamask is https://www.metamask.io and not everything else. The real Web3 Metamask once you already have especially on chrome extension will not ask for seeds instead will give you seed phrases and private keys to create your own address and once done and you want to login again it will ask for your password to login and not private key.
