I believe the team made the right decision in not spending any money on marketing so far, as there wasn't an easy to use product out.
But now that the web sportsbook is out, which let's you easily bet on the blockchain without the hassle of the downloadable app, I expect the team to invest money on marketing and get on a decent exchange. I agree that without this type of exposure the project is at risk at remaining a niche product for fan boys, at least in the short term.
Long term, who knows. Decentralised betting with self custody is a ground breaking concept. So it is earning by running masternodes of a betting blockchain instead of creating your own bookmaking infrastructure. It took the world almost a decade to even start understanding Bitcoin. It may well be that it's still very early for the world to understand other blockchain projects such as Wagerr.
