It's maybe a great initiative with good willingness. But you know how things works in this forum, it's not that easy to prove your incredibility and no one will trust you here only because you are promising to fight an urgent crisis. Almost for good reasons.
As you said in op, the program is still under developpement, so why should anyone from this community have to use your program to donate when they have a lot of ways to do so.

I don't think that talking about a reward is the best option to attract people to donate.
