No, I haven't had a MS OS for almost 12 years now... Cut my teeth on old school gentoo, but this is just stupid... I hated gentoo for always being broken, waiting forever to build stuff only to find out it was borked... But come on! Ubuntu, binary.... This is just silly... Absolutely every single tiny thing that can be broken is broken... I feel like I'm building the whole thing from scratch, absolutely NOTHING works...

Give up and try 12.04 LTS?
