There must be some pressure with competing platforms with low fees.

If ethereum devs thinks it is for the best, then so be it, they are the ones who is the most capable to lead their coin...miners are just a voice to be heard, to matter or not.. whatever the case.

Yea Polkadot looks like a worthy opponent but that max supply of Polkadot will be a let down for that project unless they start burning off the max supply like BNB token, it still never going to take over Ethereum anyways, way too far bridges ahead for Polkadot but only time will tell, maybe I'm wrong

What? Are you for real? A thieves coin that take over Ripple position on coinmarketcap? That's a new one, I've never seen a thieves coin that make it this far in 2017, any ways the main purpose of investing in coins isn't to hold them for long term, invest and make some profits then log out
