ETH will get to 5k soon. But will it solve issue with fees, no idea. I hope so because paying 2% to send 100 usd, is kind of expensive.
Today's transaction fees via the ETH platform are still quite expensive, I see, even though today almost all tokens have decreased in price including ETH, but the costs have not gone down, and to reach 5k is not impossible, but because at this time ETH has not reaching 2k, so to reach this 5k figure really took a long time for ETH.
Ethereum is really heading for a more price increase and with the launching of ETH 2.0, it is expected that the current high gas fee will be ultimately addressed as this new and upgraded network for ethereum aims to process thousands of transactions per second. This might not be observe with the current situation but hopefully, ethereum gas fees issue will be settled in the nearest time.
