Sure, he needs to contact Betfury's support because it isn't normal that he's waiting more than a week. Also, I didn't find any information on their site about the maximum limit for withdrawing funds and any mention of KYC verification.

As my feeling is that they will pay you your money already. Have you tried chatting with support directly through the site?
I have personally done it 2x, and there was always someone available after 1-2min and answered my questions.
