I think those "closing shop soon" came from the fact that there were less communication about the situation going on than anything else. If you promote every single move you make, that could result with a decent expectation and you could literally hype people out, for example when stake wanted to add sportsbook to their website they started talking about it a year before they actually did it, and they always talked about the latest situation and when it will be released and they did beta period and so forth basically spent like 6 months in heavy development with each step talked about on their forum topic.

What happened? They may not have one of the best starts because it wasn't technically fully ready unfortunately but they were hyped so everyone was still there using the half-done project like crazy. You should probably talk about yours like that until it is finished as well.
