start with the site, i think a good and potential project will have an unique site template wich mean will be different with the others
then i will go to their team and read carefully the whitepaper, because all informations will show up in the whitepaper and the project will grow or not is depends on their team
Another good strategy is instead of looking for reason to invest in a project you should go with the idea of looking for reasons to not invest in it, this may sound weird but it is the correct way to proceed, this way if you find anything wrong with the project instead of just passing over it as most people do you will simply avoid investing in it, this is a great way to avoid scams as if you do your due diligence and you investigate the team on your own you are sure to find that they are fake and avoid investing in it.
