What some people want to know is how we can be mining coins that bring an estimated .06ish per day but the performance number shows something larger than that. I said that the estimates below are moment to moment and that the number at the top is an avg over 24 hours - but I don't often see the estimates in the coin list performing at a level that should raise our average.

Its hard to say without looking into the specific times with more detail, but there are a couple of likely causes:
- The last few days weve seen coins we mine move up and down in profitability quite a bit. The estimated earnings as you said is based on 24 hours so is always trailing behind by many hours.
- The values shown in the coin list are simply based on price and difficulty at the moment. In reality, some coins perform much better and others much worse. Feathercoin for instance seems to generally out-perform our predictions, which bumps up the estimated earnings, but not the value shown in the coin list. Soon we may start to adjust the values in the list based on their past mining performance, which should bring everything a bit more in line.
