There are few cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin that will be Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and so is preferable for me.
What yardstick was used to choice these coins? becasue bitcoin is the best among all cryptocurrencies compare to others even those you have just mentioned. Monero is good in term of privacy but Bitcoin still has some level of privacy even though not as Monero. Ethereum and litecoins are good but not an option to bitcoin in my honest view. Bitcoin still remains the king of all cryptocurrencies.
One way or another, there are quite a few cryptocurrencies in the cryptocurrency market that provide various conditions for partial payments, including anonymity, and, in my opinion, any coin does not compete with Bitcoin, but complements it, performing a corresponding role in the cryptocurrency market.
