currently, Bitcoin controls 65% of the cryptocurrency capitalization, Ethereum is 11% and the remaining 24% is a combination of other Altcoins until the end of January 2021 (CMIIW). the words "nothing is impossible in the future" will keep on ringing in our heads but Ethereum to take the position of Bitcoin as the largest cryptocurrency in the world to me sounds "impossible". Ethereum price is still dependent on Bitcoin price so it will continue to do so forever..
