I'm a bit late to the party, but is that DOGE stuff actually connected to WSB (Reddit)?

I've seen nothing about it in https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/ (I guess that's their sub-Reddit, /wsb/ is in private mode), or on https://twitter.com/wsbmod (according to the side bar, the official Mod Twitter account).
