Must you say! Well, I know most companies are very strict and like impossing their policies on their customers especially when they believe it's for the greater good but then, they really should run a customer survey on which is needed or not at times. It would go a long way for customer satisfaction or at best, make some policies optional.
The 2f security system is a great one but then, the way it is imposed on customers could make it look bad but I don't see twitter making it a must. I don't use it, at least on twitter so, I  can attest to that. It's very much optional from the way I see it.

Suspending an account is more or less a normal thing on twitter especially new and unverified accounts. It's a form of robot check and other reasons.
