Since we have large market cap and high daily volume I think whales is choosing a coin to pump one by one until they break its all time high then sell it to other after they pump it. Maybe its group of whale helping each other to pump a coin . there stop many coins that still not moving and stock on their price and waiting for the right call to pump. Your lucky if you can see it early before they will pump it.
There are too many personalities now that are getting involved in crypto, not just in BTC but they do tweet, use or hype other altcoins that makes some altcoins active like what happen in Doge but it's still hard to determine what coin to choose when there are tons in it so what I do is when I see some altcoins pumping I try to search whats on it why it suddenly pump and taking advantage the chance I can trade it.
