My Poloniex account was hacked back in 2017 and 7 btc were stolen. I did not have 2FA at that time and the hacker got to my account and traded those coins away.

However, 2 Russians were Indicted and US law enforcement seized some cash and currencies. From news source "Millions of dollars in virtual currency and dollars have since been seized by US authorities."

I am still chasing poloniex and they keep telling me that my account was compromised and they are still investigating to see if my funds can be recovered. But its been more than 3 years now.

My question is, can I take Poloniex to court? how can i get my funds back from US law enforcement given they have seized some funds.


PS. please dont comment "why did you not have 2FA?"

The question is, what should be my next steps?
