You compare incomparable! Bitcoin and Ethereum are completely different assets. Bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies and it leads them. Just look through the markets history! When BTC pumps, alts start their growth also. When BTC dumps, all alts also dump. These processes are permanent.
People compare incomparable for years here... And I saw many arguments from hardcore Ethereum supporters, and some of them sounds good, but I don't think that any coin can beat Bitcoin in some near future... maybe that can happen, I don't think about it like it's something impossible, I just think others will have to work a lot to come closer to Bitcoin first, and then they can have better chances for that!
By the way alt section is full of similar threads, it's like that for years...and from all the talking, from next Bitcoin to next Ethereum... Bitcoin is still what is, like Ethereum, no changes, and as I said I don't think we will see some changes anytime soon!
